Earth Science Projects

Why would anyone want to choose earth science projects over physics, biology or chemistry projects? I mean isn't playing with chemicals or microscopes or even forces in physics more fun than looking at the earth? Well – the fact is that earth science deals with all of these disciplines of science – and more! Think about it, earthquakes and volcanoes have to do with forces and pressure – which is physics. What about the formation of diamonds – this is chemistry, right? And biology – well that pretty much occurs all over the earth's surface.
