What is an ecosystem and can I make one?
The Hypothesis
An ecosystem is where a whole lot of things, such as soil, water, sunlight, plants and animals all work together so that life can happen.
The Experiments
Make a model or diagram of an ecosystem.
Make an ecosystem in a bottle.
Why these experiments?
By making a model or diagram of an ecosystem, you will learn very quickly what the important things are in an ecosystem. You will also be able to show everyone else easily how an ecosystem is made up as it is easier to shoe them than tell them, not so?By making your own ecosystem, and maybe making some mistakes when making it, you will learn about how everything works together to make an ecosystem.
The Conclusion
Ecosystems have many parts that all work together to make sure the system works well and so that life can exist.
