Elementary Science Fair Projects
This webpage has some fantastic elementary science fair projects which will captivate the imaginations of young scientists. How can I say that, you ask? Because I have done my own little bit of scientific research – I tried the experiments that you will find on this site - on my own five kids!
What, you did science experiments on your own kids?
No, no I didn't hang their feet into a bowl of water to see if water would diffuse up their body, or try to shine light through them to make a rainbow – but I did get them to do the experiments. And guess what... they really enjoyed doing them, and in the process learnt a whole lot on how to put together good science fair projects and saw how exciting science can actually be!
Being in elementary school is the perfect stage in life to learn to be crazy about science.
So next time you see a rainbow, stop and try figure out why it's there. Why do some flowers attract sunbirds and some attract flies? When you water your favorite potplant (every elementary school kid should have one of those!), how does the water get up into the plant? Why can you only put a certain amount of spoons of sugar in your tea before it doesn't dissolve any more (and then your mom sees the left overs in the bottom of the cup and you have to drink water for the rest of your life!)? Hey, I could carry on like this forever...
Science made easy
Yes, science can be exciting and fun...and by doing your elementary science fair projects using Good-Science-Fair-Projects.com, science also becomes easy!
Enough of my jabber...let us move on to...
THE PROJECTS...
Let me explain some things...Terms that are used in the elementary science fair projects found on this site are all explained on the glossary page. Because science is everywhere, some of the experiments can be applied to more than one of the four areas that are mentioned above. From this elementary science fair projects page you can link to a project that you are interested in or to look at each of the experiments separately. You can choose to do all of the experiments for a project or choose one experiment for your project depending on how in-depth your project needs to be. Either way, Good-Science-Fair-Projects.com is designed to help you guys produce way out fantastical elementary science fair projects.
