Science Resources
All you need for your science fair project
The science resources page has fantastic resources to help you with your science fair project. This page is a work in progress. As I find more resources during my trips around cyberspace I will add them to this page. But I have a problem... I am only 1 person (go figure!). This means that my time is limited and the resources will only be added very slowly (because I only put quality stuff on – which are often hard to find). So, like any good thinking scientist I have come up with a solution ... I want you to help me! If you know of high quality science resources, whether it be quality kits that you can buy or an e-book or normal book which will give fellow science fairers the edge,
let me know.
If you have used this resource yourself in doing your science fair project that is even better – because you know what – people will use something if the person telling them how good it is has first hand experience using it! And get this, if you can
submit the actual project
you used the project for and people can see the result – well – you may just be the next celebrity scientist! Celebrity scientist? You did not know they existed? Ever heard of a guy called
Stephen Hawking?
Anyway, here are some resource gems that I have found for you...
This is a brilliant book, written by someone with tons of science fair experience, on How to do science fair projects. And you get a "How to win" book thrown in for free. You can't loose with this one. To check this one out click here!

This one is not really about the website - it is about the event. It is the science event of the year - the annual SciFest. This is Africa's answer to cutting edge science education for kids.
Unfortunately, this is only applicable if you are in South Africa. If you are in this country during the Fest, it is a must. In fact, it would be worthwhile catching a Boeing from anywhere in the world to be at this event!
Check out the website
- you can see what happened at 2008's SciFest. Expect great things for 2009.
Tell us about any high quality science resources.
